BSTM (Botswana Smart Technology Makers) is an ecosystem of connected digital projects — trading tools, marketplaces, a digital currency, transport software, and creative work — built to solve practical problems through technology, finance, and design.

Why it exists

BSTM exists to build practical technology that creates opportunities, supports innovation, and shows what can be built from Botswana through consistent, connected work.

Everything sits inside one six-layer structure. Each layer narrows the one above it, until the tree opens into 63 individual rooms — the spaces the live projects and future builds occupy.

Book One: Building the Impossible

A systems autobiography — written from inside the work, not after it. It separates documented events from interpretation, real projects from open questions, on purpose.

"This book does not claim to be finished, because the work it describes is not finished."

Each chapter runs through five layers — Origin, Evidence, Architecture, Reflection, Application — so a story counts as evidence, not anecdote. Volume One covers the front matter plus the first two of seven planned Systems:
